Lawrens Tan is a Singapore-based creative director, entrepreneur, educator and photographer whose career connects original design, creative enterprise and practical learning. The founder of Tee-Saurus and The Branding Giants, he has developed brands, products and visual experiences informed by humour, everyday life and human connection.
His design work has earned 14 A' Design Awards, including Gold and Silver honours, and four Creativity International Awards (USA), including a 2016 Silver for the Tee-Saurus English Office Buddy and a 2015 Bronze for the Post-it Colleague Care Media Kit. In 2024, The Office Buddy Flipcharts — Warning Series received a Platinum Award from the Architecture & Design Collection Awards.
In addition to his creative practice, Lawrens has served as a lecturer with the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies at Nanyang Polytechnic, bringing hands-on industry perspectives into social media, content creation, mobile photography, videography and eCommerce. He also holds the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), a Singapore adult education qualification.
